Clay Bowl Solaris Phunnel Atlas

This is an astronomical tradition for naming Saturn's moons. Atlas holds up the sky in Greek mythology - the moon Atlas «holds» Saturn's A ring through gravitational interaction. It's a metaphorical coincidence: the titan bearing the heavens, and the moon holding the icy rings. The authors of the Solaris series used this imagery for a bowl with drips on top - like icy vapors descending from the skies.

The white color requires regular attention: soot marks and tobacco residue are more visible than on dark bowls. Rinse Atlas with warm water immediately after it cools - fresh stains wash off easily. For deep cleaning, use a soft brush. The blue-greenish drips are completely preserved - they are on the glaze and cannot be washed off.

The white Atlas creates maximum contrast on black and dark gray hookahs - the light bowl immediately draws the eye. On white and silver hookahs, Atlas looks monochrome with a blue accent. This bowl is for minimalist, modern setups where the emphasis is on purity and lightness of image.

A clay phunnel adds special thermal properties to the advantages of the phunnel shape: slow and even heating of the tobacco, a characteristic «clay note» in the flavor, and long heat retention. A silicone phunnel is neutral and heats up faster. For moist, rich tobaccos with complex flavor, a clay phunnel reveals more nuances of taste.
