Clay Bowl Solaris Lich

The Solaris System series is dedicated to celestial bodies, but "Lich" is a special case. There is no object by this name in astronomy, but in the series it takes the place as an image of "dark matter" or "the undead of space" - dark, invisible forces that influence the Solar System. This is an artistic decision by the collection's creators, deliberately going beyond strict astronomy to create the most atmospheric image.

The drips are applied before firing and during high-temperature firing fuse with the main glaze. The final surface is monolithic - the drips are not a separate element but part of the overall coating. They will not chip or fall off under normal use. The only threat is mechanical impact against a hard surface, from which no ceramic bowl is immune.

Both are black, but with different concepts. Lich - monolithic black glaze with light drips, creating an image of dark magic. Oberon - a black base with a cracked gray layer on top, creating an image of destruction and decay. Lich is mysterious and static. Oberon is disintegrating and dynamic. These are fundamentally different moods within the same dark palette.

Lich is made for dark, gothic setups. The ideal combination is a matte black hookah, where the light drips on the dark bowl create the only points of contrast. It also looks magnificent by candlelight or in dim lighting, where the play of shadows emphasizes the volume of the drips on the glossy black glaze.

No special requirements. The black base is practical - it does not show burn marks. The light drips in the recesses may collect small particles - just rinse with a soft brush and warm water. The entire surface is covered with fired glaze, making care simple and standard for any ceramic bowl.
