The green color in ceramic glaze is obtained from metal oxides - most often chromium oxide or copper, which are natural mineral components. After firing at high temperatures, these oxides become chemically stable and completely safe. The glaze is on the outer surface and does not come into direct contact with the tobacco.

The green with black waves creates a natural, organic look. It is ideally suited to hookahs with wooden elements, brass details, and matte black bases. In interiors, it fits well with eco style, loft with natural materials, or oriental style. This is a non-standard choice that stands out against a sea of uniform black and red colorways.

Inspect the bowl for cracks, chips, and unevenness in the glaze. Tap the wall - well-fired clay produces a clear, ringing sound. Check the holes: all 5 should be clear and not clogged with clay or glaze. Minor variations in wave pattern and shade are normal for handmade work.

It is not recommended. The dishwasher uses aggressive detergents and high water temperature, which can gradually degrade the clay structure and compromise glaze adhesion. Wash the bowl by hand with warm water after it has fully cooled - this is sufficient to maintain cleanliness and preserve appearance for years.

For breaking in a new clay bowl, a first session with a smaller amount of tobacco is recommended - about 12-14 grams with a fluffy pack. This allows the bowl to gradually acclimate to operating temperatures and burn off any possible manufacturing odors. From the second or third session onward, pack the full capacity of 14-20 grams.
